Ashley is a Hargrave High School graduate and has been Huffman resident since she was 5 years old. She worked at the local vet clinic for 5 years then left to pursue her passion in Cosmetology. She went on to attend San Jacinto College Cosmetology program to achieve her Cosmetology License. After obtaining her license Ashley had a career change and accepted an opportunity as an Optometric Assistant. While working a few years in an optometric practice, Ashley gained knowledge in front desk scheduling, insurance, preliminary work ups, contacts, contact lens training, and training staff. Finding the opportunity to work in Huffman at Vista Eye Center she accepted a position as an Optometric Assistant in August 2021. Since starting with Vista Eye Center she has moved up to Clinical Services Manager traning new employees and Optical Sales. She enjoys getting to care for those she has grown up knowing and meeting new people.
When not at work Ashley enjoys being a wife and mother, spending time with her family and friends, singing, and going antiquing.
